Adiele, Promise
Trial is a central motif in Soyinka’s The Trial of Brother Jero and Ngugi’s The Trial of Dedan Kimathi co-authored with Micere Githae Mugo. However, the recurring interpretive kernel of the former has consistently hovered the precincts of proliferation of churches and the dubious approach of those who posture as men of God while merchandising the Christian faith. The latter has also variously been interpreted from the prism of revolutionary ethos which encapsulates the struggle of Kenyans to achieve self-rule from British imperialists. While the two different analytical planks have contributed to the appreciation of the two texts, they prove inadequate to capture further existential parameters where religion and politics are implicitly on trial. Using
Jaques Derrida’s Deconstruction, this paper advances the above existing interpretive spectrum by arguing that the trials which the two protagonists in the plays, Brother Jero and Dedan Kimathi face are synecdochical for religion and politics. The paper reveals that the trials recreated in the texts continually rehash religion and politics in contemporary times. Thus, Brother Jero’s trials and his disingenuous responses to them are symbolic of the trials which churches go through. Also, Dedan Kimathi’s trials and the attendant social dislocations in Kenya during the precolonial era are redolent of the trials African societies go through in the face of capitalist, exploitative predilections of the ruling class. Therefore, the trials in the texts provide a mirror for examining
churches on one hand and socio-political struggles on the other hand.

This project focuses on the development and implementation of an online clearance system for university students. The goal of the system is to streamline the clearance process and enhance efficiency, convenience, and accuracy. Through the system, students can complete their clearance tasks on-line, eliminating the need for physical visits and reducing waiting times. The system provides features such as electronic form submission, real-time tracking of clearance progress, and accurate record-keeping. Feedback from users indicates high levels of satisfaction, highlighting the system's convenience and user-friendly interface. However, challenges such as accessibility and continuous system improvement have been identified. Recommendations are proposed to address these challenges and further enhance the system. Overall, the project demonstrates the benefits of implementing an online clearance system, improving the student experience and administrative processes within the university.

MESHE, DAMILOLA PETER
he study's primary objective was to create an online chatbot admission system to assist university applicants in obtaining information related to the institution's admission procedures. To achieve this, the research encompassed a comprehensive review of existing chatbot systems, identification of user and system requirements through informal interviews, and the specification of system design employing UML diagrams like use case, sequence, and activity diagrams. Implementation was carried out using an array of technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax API, Python, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with data management facilitated by a PostgreSQL database. At the project's culmination, a web-based platform was delivered, furnishing applicants with standardized information concerning the university's admission processes and incorporating a database to store both user-bot interactions. The study concludes that this application will substantially benefit the university and applicants, providing rapid responses, consistent information ,and 24/7 support. In summary, the research offers a valuable contribution to streamlining university admission procedures through modern technology, alongside recommendations for future endeavors in this field.

ODOFIN, TOLULOPE MARTHA
Organzational structure continues to be essential to the growth of work organization as a tool for improving adequate work coordination and efficient supervision. Based on this, the study concentrated on The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers’ organizational structure and employees’ performance. The study used a descriptive survey approach and the organizations low, middle and top management staff made up the study’s population. Contingency theory and systems theory were used as the study’s framework. Both stratified sampling and a simple random sampling are used for the investigation. A questionnaire was used for data collection and percentages, frequencies and the spearman correlation coefficient were used for data analysis. Taro Yamane’s formula was used in the study to determine the sample size, which came to 260 participantsaccording to hypothesis 1 the result indicated that there is a strong positive correlation between number of hierarchy and work quality with correlation coefficient “r” being 0.757. Hypothesis 2the result indicated that there is a weak positive correlation between formalization and work efficiency with correlation coefficient “r” being 0.309. Hypothesis 3 the result indicated that there is a moderate positive correlation between the types of organizational structure and high productivity with correlation coefficient “r” being 0.563. Hypothesis 4 the result indicated that there is a strong positive correlation between departmentalization and work quantity with
correlation coefficient “r” being 0.815. The study made the following recommendation: The management of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers should as a matter of urgency spell out the organizational objectives and design the appropriate structure that will allow the organization to achieve all these objectives. It is imperative to ensure that authority, communication, rights and 7duties of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers are well arranged in order of hierarchy as this will pave way for demarcation of roles, power and responsibilities for the organization to effectively achieve its objectives. Additionally, Like many work organizations in Nigeria, the management of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers should lay much emphasis on hierarchy of authority in order to give room for good reporting system, free flow of communication, position recognition and role
