dc.description.abstract This project will develop an inventory system that will be used to keep a record of the day-to-day activities of an industry or institution. This plan would employ other subsystems in other systems to achieve its objective. These subsystems include a web gateway for managing supply and sales activities, documenting inventories, and storing the results in a database. An inventory management system's primary purpose is to retain stock at a level that is neither overstocked nor understocked. Inventory management has operational as well as financial objectives. Materials and stock should be available in sufficient quantities for operational purposes, while functional purposes should have a minimum working capital lock-in en_US
