dc.description.abstract The study examines the effect of the adoption of cashless policy on the performance of commercial banks in Nigeria. By using client account accessibility and queue’s in banking halls as proxy for the adoption of cashless policy and error term as proxy for performance and using the statistical package for the social sciences, the study reveals that there is a high positive relationship between the adoption of cashless policy and commercial bank performance in Nigeria. The spss also revealed that the use of cashless policy instruments like ATMs and POS helps achieve the set out objectives stated in this research project. en_US
