dc.description.abstract This study has examined the impact of macroeconomic variables on unemployment in Nigeria using the time series data between 1970-2020. Secondary data was sourced from world development index and central bank statistical bulletin. The impact of macroeconomic variables on unemployment was tested using OLS model, Augmented Dickey fuller unit root test and Granger causality test through E-views version 10. The result shows that there is a negative relationship between unemployment, inflation and economic growth in the short run. en_US
