dc.description.abstract The subject matter of this research work is to examine the use of language in Nigeria’s Music Industry, with a closer look at Folarin Falana’s (A.K.A, Falz the Bahd Guy) language use. The concept of language is carefully elucidated in this paper. One of the objectives of this research work is to find out the style of language used by Falz, more so, the research paper also aims at explicating the concept of Yorubanalisation. The research design used for the study is a descriptive survey method. The theory used in this research is stylistics focusing on the graphological, phonological, lexical and grammatical (syntax and morphology) aspects of Falz’s language use. Five songs were downloaded and analyzed. Four research questions were formulated to guide the study. en_US
